The Creator has a face!
We've known for some time that Keisha Castle-Hughes will play a powerful mystery woman who claims to be the Creator - but now we have the proof!
Keisha will feature in the aptly named episode "Creator" which should be airing in the coming weeks.
The writers are obviously going down the Dogma route by making the Creator female. Is this really the Creator though, or is she under the spell of some POWERFUL MAGIC?!
Time will tell.

Legend of the Seeker in Times Square - Photos!
A live web cam was available to view throughout the Legend of the Seeker event which was held earlier today in Times Square New York.We managed to take a few screencaps of the event via the webcam. From the pictures you can make out the Mord'Sith, the Legend of the Seeker car, the camera crew and the crowds.
I'm pretty sure Bridget and Craig were both present but unfortunately, I can't make heads or tails of them from the images. There is also a "proper" photo of the car which was visible from the webcam.
Still, it's not bad considering I'm sitting at home in London, UK watching an event thousands of miles away! I'm hoping someone who was actually at the event is nice enough to share their photo's with us.

For those of you who were lucky enough to get an iTunes 3D Legend of the Seeker promotional card and ultimately, a code to watch the first episode, Marked, of the brand new series on iTunes - then you don't need to bother with reading the rest of this post.For those of us who don't live in the US or who didn't get a chance to pick up their free 3D card, you can view the screenshots from Episode 1 Series 2 and get really excited for it's release next week. They've been added to the gallery for your viewing pleasure.

Series 2 promotional image: Triana
If you've been following the series 2 cast information religiously, you'll know already that Charisma Carpenter will be playing the part of a Mord'Sith named Triana.For some time now, we've already seen Triana in costume in this image.
But now we have the full, slightly different, unedited version.
She's looking mighty good as a Sister of the Agiel. I wonder where her loyalties will lie?

To whet your appetite for this week's final episode, we have four brand new images for your viewing pleasure. Fan's of the book series will be pleased to note CARA makes an appearance in episode 22, Reckoning. Although fans of the books will also note that Cara doesn't make an appearance in Wizard's First Rule - but then we should know by now the TV series is only "based" on the books and doesn't follow them verbatim.And yes, Cara has brown hair. We know the books states she has a long blonde braid, but come on! Look past the superficial and concentrate on the performance.

Bloodline: New images
It's that time of the week again where high resolution images for the upcoming episode are shared with you lovely visitors.My first thoughts at seeing them? EH? This leaves my original thoughts about what "secret" Richard discovers about his bloodline, in doubt. Does he find out what Zedd confessed to Kahlan all those episodes ago, or is it something else... is it Jennsen?

Richard and Co return to Hartland this week - wonder what they are going back for? Perhaps to hide the last box of Orden from Darken Rahl? Amfortas - New character!
A new character called Amfortas will be starring in this weeks episode, Revenant, played by actor Michael Hurst. Some of you might recognise him from Hercules.Amfortas is the Wizard to the last True Seeker, Kieran, who died a thousand years ago. Two images of Amfortas have been added to our gallery. Enjoy.
Is the 'spirit' of Kieran the reason why Kahlan and Richard get it on this week? Only a day until we find out!

Rachel and Princess Violet pics
We've known for some time who'd be playing Princess Violet in the TV show, well now we have the first official picture of Maisy McLeod in character as Princess Violet.There is also a photo of Rachel, she looks very sweet. For those of you who've read the books, will notice Rachel doesn't have short hair, but that's ok - it may get chopped off yet!

Promo for Denna, Episode 8
We've got the promotional video for Denna, Episode 8. Don't lie, we know you were all waiting for it. If you've already watched it in the "Upcoming Episode" section located in the header of the site, then great. But now you can watch it in a bigger format in our archive.The day has also been spent upgrading our gallery. A few things you'll notice is the new layout. It's based on the design of the main site, but flavoured for the use of the gallery. You can now search for images with keywords (top right), comment on images and navigate through different albums a lot quicker.
The images from the older gallery are almost all transferred over. Once this is completed, we'll update the gallery to include screenshots from the already-aired episodes. Expect this to happen in the coming days.
Happy New Year, let's hope 2009 brings us some much watched and loved episodes of Legend of the Seeker.
Shota and Demmin Nass photos
We have some new high res photos of upcoming characters. Most noticebly, Shota, who is played by Danielle Cormack. There is also one of Demmin Nass and an unknown woman who I've just titled 'Lady' for now.Although I have a theory that the 'Lady' is actually Shota in one of her many forms. They are both wearing the same necklace - but we won't know for sure until we see the episode. What do you think? Enjoy.

We've known for a while now that Ted Raimi would appear in Legend of the Seeker as Sebastian. Well now we have a photo of him in character.We must say, loving the waistcoat. Sebastian is a maker of magical maps; I wonder who needs help finding their way?

Screencaps of Prophecy and Destiny
For those of you who like looking at screencaps, I've added about 180 images from episode 1, Prophecy and episode 2, Destiny.The images cover the important scenes and for those of you who have not watched the show, please bear in mind they will almost certainly contain spoilers. I've uploaded them to our gallery for your viewing pleasure.
On other website news, I will be writing up a review of the two episodes in the coming days. I'm amazed at some of the reviews I've seen already from various people online, some loving the show, some absolutely hating it... it just goes to show how people's views differ greatly from each others.
I've also decided to open up a writers corner on here for visitors, members, fans and not-fans-any-more can share their opinions on the show via the medium of article writing. All you need is an opinion and a computer. I'll post more details of this soon when it's been finalised.
Otherwise, hope most of you enjoyed the premiere episodes so far and continue to tune in this weekend for Bounty, episode 3.

New York Times article and new photo
New York Times have posted an in-depth and interesting article about the Legend of the Seeker. It also includes a new photo of Zedd, which is always a good thing.Mr. Raimi said he became a big fan of Mr. Goodkind’s books after a friend mentioned that his son was devouring them. In particular, he said, he was attracted to the evolution of the male lead.
“He’s a boy thrust into a position of adulthood where he has to immediately become a leader and a hero,” Mr. Raimi said in a phone interview. “That is very compelling to me, especially in the context of a really fun adventure story.”
Mr. Tapert also became hooked on the story — laid out in 11 books that have sold more than 25 million copies worldwide — and saw an opening in the syndication business that had not existed in nearly a decade. ... More?

Countdown widget launched
We've launched our own Legend of the Seeker countdown widget. It counts down the days until the first episode officially premiers on November 1st 2008. You can place this image in your forum signature or webpage to help promote the television show.The image is dynamic, which means it changes the number of days automatically. All you have to do is copy and paste the code into your preferred location.
Please note, saving this image and directly uploading it to your site will not work; the image runs on script to make the actual countdown work. In the coming week various backgrond images and sizes will be available. Please contact us if you have any suggestions.

Trailer screencaps added
I've taken screencaps of the six trailers currently available. Unfortunately the trailers aren't clear as crystal, so most of the pictures don't compare to the promotional ones in terms of picture quality. Welcome to the unofficial fan site for the Legend of the Seeker television series. This website was created with the intention of bringing its visitors clear, accurate and up to date news and information about the Legend of the Seeker series. The show is due to air on November 1st 2008 and to anticipate its release, we’ve gathered as much information as possible so you know what to expect from the show.We’ve updated our galleries with several promotional and episode images.
The forums have just been launched. We’re open to suggestions for tailoring the forums towards its users and will be looking for moderators shortly. (More info on this to come.)
Over the next week, we’ll be adding extensive character and cast biographies pages; these will be constantly updated once the show starts and more information becomes available.
We have several competitions coming up in the near future and tons of ideas for articles relating to the television series. So please keep checking back as we’re adding new content every single day.
